Rejecting Cupcake

We have been Cupcake's family for about a year now. When we were getting to know him we discovered he does not purr, nor does he like to "cubble" (cuddle). I told the Cs that we had to give him the reject stamp, so they did.

We didn't really reject him, he's too cute and talkative.

I am a luddite. Here it is.

Of course now that I have gotten this on the blog, the sweater has been completed and worn. Intarsia, every single one of the flags on this thing, not a single duplicate stitch on there. C#1 insisted that every single end be woven in before he would wear it. Done.

C#2 has decided that he would prefer a Norwegian sweater. Haven't they ever heard of the joy of a super bulky yarn?

Look a photo! I think....wait it's not working. Oh, well, I guess I have saved you from my intarsia blob.

It figures.

I finally figure out the blog thing, and wouldn't you know it, the camera is no longer on speaking terms with my computer.

Shall I describe my photo?
I took a photo of the crazy intarsia sweater I'm making for one of my children. It shows the big tangle of the 7 (or was it 9?) skeins attached to it.

Fun, huh?

Really though, intarsia isn't too bad. It gets a bit blobbed up, but then the section ends before you know it.

Right here would've been a good place for a kitty pic.

Sigh.
