Socks per Request

Ollie and the sock in progress.

A closer shot of the ribbed pattern.

Sometimes you just have to touch the yarn.
Circus boy's circus coach, an amazing man from Kazkhstan who was trained at the world renowned Moscow Circus School, noticed that I was knitting socks one day.
He said that he used to sit with his grandmother and knit socks with her. I  just love that!
So, when he asked me to make him a pair of socks, how could I say no?
He asked for black socks, or I saw this lovely green yarn - Rock Creek Yarn - Twisterino at Yarn Con and thought, "Great! Now I don't have to knit black socks!"
Except that I think he meant to say grey, rather than green. Oh well.
