Why is it so hard to sew on buttons?
Not actually physically difficult, but the procrastination over some little plastic, glass or shell bits that can be essential to some clothing is just so difficult to overcome.

Okay...plan a big function, like a party. Then, just before guests arrive, you will want to get everything done at once. Those buttons will get sewn on then.
(I learned this from my mom. I wish I hadn't)
